I would really like to go to Brazil for many reasons, principally
because I admire the story and culture of this country. First of all, I really like the brazilian
music, wich has an african influence. I like Chico Buarque a lot, so the
lambada and bossanova. Second, Im also very interested in the history of this
country, because Brazil have a very powerfull union (the brazilian CUT). Third,
I know that the people of this country is very happy, and I can see that in their dances, their music, even in their tv series. About this tv series, I
watched “el color del pecado”, and “tierra
esperanza”, and I think that they are very entreteined.
Besides, sociology has a strengt development in Brazil. For
example, cardosso is a very important sociologist, who develop the “dependence
theory” with Faletto (chilean sociologist). That is why I would really like to
do my master in this country. Hopefully, in the future I will go there to
study something related to latinoamerican history.
